ORTHSTAR ANNOUNCES ANNOUNCES LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH HUGHES TRAINING, INC. 

                                              FOR COMPUTER GENERATED GRAPHICS (CGI)


             ELMIRA, NEW YORK, September 29, 1997-- ORTHSTAR, Inc., a Systems, Simulation and Software 

Engineering organization, today announced it has completed a license agreement with Hughes Training, Inc. 

of Arlington, Texas for Hughes Training's RightView™ software.  RightView™ is Computer Generated Imagery 

(CGI) developed for aircraft flight simulators.  This technology has been proven effective in the Railroad and 

Transit Simulation Industry.  Now ORTHSTAR has exclusive rights to integrate this advanced CGI in 

ORTHSTAR simulators.

ORTHSTAR, a New York State corporation, has created over 100 real-time and on-line systems since 1974. 

ORTHSTAR's technology extends from developing intricate flight and jet engine controls, submarine systems, 

locomotive and transit systems, trainborne equipment, train and helicopter simulation, wayside equipment, 

process control, and global positioning software and on-line testing systems to total factory automation and 

automatic train control.


   Mr. James Orsillo, CEO of ORTHSTAR, stated "By signing these agreements with Hughes Training, Inc. 

   for the rights to the CGI software, ORTHSTAR gains the competitive edge of having all system and software 

   development activities for all transportation based simulation in house."

  ORTHSTAR can deliver all aspects of vision systems for its full range of simulators using the  latest technology 

  for video, graphic overlay, and now computer generated imagery for Railroad and Transit Simulators.

  ORTHSTAR's current markets include system development for aerospace and aircraft, railroad and transit, 

  industrial automation and process control, as well as power generating utilities (conventional and nuclear).
