ORTHSTAR ANNOUNCES THE DELIVERY OF A BOMBARDIER M7 TRAIN SIMULATOR TO 

METRO NORTH COMMUTER RAILROAD

 

HORSEHEADS, NEW YORK, April 12, 2004 - ORTHSTAR, Inc. announced today the delivery of an M-7 Train Simulator to Metro North Commuter Railroad, an agency of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) under contract with Bombardier Transportation North America.

The simulator shall be used by Metro North's Training Department as part of the training and certification process for Train Operators who will run the new M-7 Transit Cars.

The M-7 simulator is a state-of-the-art train simulator encompassing some of the most advanced computer technology, while relying on proven components and models that have been field tested and fine-tuned over a number of years.
