ORTHSTAR ANNOUNCES AWARD OF PATH PA-5 SIMULATOR CONTRACT

Horseheads, New York – February 1, 2006 – ORTHSTAR, Inc. announced today the recent contract award of a PA-5 Transit Car Simulator from Kawasaki Rail Car.  With this contract ORTHSTAR, Inc. will build, test, and maintain software and hardware for a PA-5 Transit Car Simulator for Kawasaki to be utilized by the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation of New York and New Jersey (PATH).  The simulator shall be used by PATH’s Training Department as part of the training and certification process for Train Operators who will run the new PATH PA-5 Transit Cars. 

The PATH PA-5 Transit Car Simulator is a state-of-the-art train simulator encompassing some of the most advanced computer technology, while relying on proven components and models that have been field tested and fine-tuned over a number of years. The PATH PA-5 Transit Car Simulator will have a full replica cab, a six (6) Degree of Freedom Motion System and Computer Generated Imagery Video System.
